One of the many great features included with this plasma big screen TV, is Panasonic’s Vierra Connect smart platform. This technology allows Panasonic to keep the cost of the processing chip in the television down by relying on remote servers in the cloud to perform the heavier processing tasks. While it is a great way to control costs, it does place the television viewer at the mercy of their Internet speeds.
Not only is this TV high definition, it also supports three-dimensional viewing with incorporated dual eight train speakers. It even includes an integrated sub-woofer, so the sound quality and range is superb. This set also allows for direct streaming of Internet content. The Viera Link system by Panasonic houses all your picture, video and music files – whether it is through the USB port via flash drive or other USB enabled device or wirelessly streamed. It must however be remembered, the TV will perform only as fast as your Internet connection due to the cloud based processing.

This set has many features built into it, and many others that come with it. The touch pad controller is awesome, especially with the advent of pads and iPods™. The 3D display is awesome, as in the built in Vierra Connect with web browser. Its 1080p resolution is crisp and clean, with awesome color. It has four HDMI input ports, three USB 2.0 ports a composite input with component video input shared and a D-sub fifteen-pin PC input.
This television is set up to allow the user to multi-task at unbelievable levels. It allows for Skype, Facebook and Twitter, has an app for the Vierra remote, and comes with a wireless LAN adapter already built in. Its media player supports AVCHD #d/ Progressive, SD-VIDEO/ motion, JPEG, MKV, MP4, MOV, M4v, VRO, VOB, TS, PS, MP3, AAC, FLAC, and JPEG/MPO formats. It seems they’ve hit them all.
